Just the other day we heard the rumor that BlackBerry OS 6.1 would be changed to OS 7, theory was this would be so since it would be such a larger change from OS 6. Today during the Q&A Investors Call, RIM co-CEO Jim Balsillie has confirmed that they’re changing it to OS 7. His reasons are that ‘OS 7′ includes liquid graphics, magnetometer, and more, which drastically separates it from OS 6, and therefore .1 away is far too small. They concluded that BlackBerry World should be very interesting and that attendees will not be let down
